Your first visit

Forty-five minutes, one-on-one, with time for your questions.

  1. 1

    Before you arrive

Fill in a short health form online, so we spend your time on you, not paperwork.

  2. 2

    Talk it through

We listen to what has happened, what makes it worse, and what you want to get back to.

  3. 3

    Assessment

We look at how you move, test strength and range, and work out what is driving the problem.

  4. 4

    Treatment

Usually some hands-on care in the first session, so you leave with a start, not just a diagnosis.

  5. 5

    Your plan

Questions

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book straight in. You only need a GP referral to claim through Medicare under a chronic condition management plan.

What should I wear?

Something comfortable you can move in. For a knee or hip, shorts are easiest. For a shoulder, a singlet.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the problem and your goals. After your assessment we give you an honest estimate and review it as you go.

Can I bring someone with me?

Of course. Parents are welcome, and children under 16 need a parent or guardian with them.

Is there parking?

Yes, free parking right outside the clinic, including an accessible bay.
