- If water is near power points or the switchboard, turn the power off at the main switch if it is safe to do so.
- Move valuables and mop up what you can, then call us straight away.

- Stop running water into that drain, including the dishwasher and washing machine.
- Do not pour drain cleaner in. It rarely clears a real blockage and makes the job dangerous for us.

- Check whether the system has power or gas: a tripped safety switch or a pilot light that has gone out is common.
